Melissa Connor-Santos is a seasoned Board Certified Behavior Analyst with over 15 years of expertise in applied behavior analysis and education. Initially mentored by Dr. Bridget Taylor, Melissa is now concluding her doctoral studies in Applied Behavior Analysis at Endicott College, under the guidance of Dr. Mark Dixon. Her research focuses on ethics and the practical applications of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
Melissa has a comprehensive background in providing consultation, evaluation, and training across both public and private educational settings, as well as designing individualized treatment and consultation for home-based interventions. Her expertise in applying behavior analysis within public schools, facilitating transitions to adulthood, and implementing ACT is coupled with a compassionate, collaborative approach to consultation that aims to enhance both individual and systemic outcomes.
Currently, Melissa holds a faculty position at Felician University’s School of Education and serves as an adjunct professor at Endicott College’s Institute of Applied Behavior Science. She is also a certified Level 6 Supervisor in the Practical Functional Assessment and Skills Based Treatment process, with extensive experience in coaching and certifying staff.
In addition to her consulting and educational roles, Melissa is dedicated to mentoring aspiring BCBAs through competency-based supervision practices that emphasize practical experience and ethical professional conduct.
Whether working with organizations to improve systems or guiding new practitioners, Melissa is committed to advancing the field of behavior analysis through her expertise and mentorship.
